A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted yesterday morning in broad daylight on her way to school in Aldershot after being approached by a man in a black car.
The incident took place between 9am and 10am on Friday on Lower Farnham Road near the junction with Herrett Street, a busy residential area in the Hampshire town.
The girl was repeatedly asked where she was going before the man exited his black vehicle and touched her leg. She pushed him away and ran to a member of the public for help.
Hampshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time. However, the only description released so far is that the suspect was driving a black car.
No further details about the man, such as age, appearance, clothing or ethnicity, have been provided.
