A Telford councillor has been arrested on suspicion of downloading indecent images.

Arrested at his home Monday, suspended by the Labour Party the same day, and bailed while police continue enquiries.

The council has confirmed the arrest and says safeguarding measures are in place.

This is far from the first time Labour councillors or officials have faced these charges. When does the pattern get taken seriously?
