Before #HarryandMeghan .. In 2006, #MeghanMarkle landed the role of a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal. She appeared in 34 episodes during the show’s second season from 2006 to 2007.
Over the years, Markle has talked about how she felt on the show, which was hosted by Howie Mandel at the time. “It was solely about beauty and not necessarily about brains,” Markle said in her Archetypes podcast, per ABC. “I didn’t like feeling forced to be all looks.”
