Fight before the game.

‼️A huge fight broke out among Argentina fans ahead of the semi-final clash against England.


Footage shared on social media caught Argentinian supporters hurling glass bottles, benches, bins and even tables at each other in Atlanta, where there match will take place.


The violence reportedly broke out between rival fans of the San Lorenzo and Huracan clubs.


Police separated the two groups and at least one man was reportedly handcuffed by Atlanta cops and led away from the crowd.


The violence broke out at what is believed to have been a "flag-waving rally" before the match, but police were forced to intervene to quash the fights.


Around 10,000 Argentina supporters had descended on Downtown Atlanta for the flag-waving event - known as a "Banderazo" - before the row kicked off.


Recent tensions between the two sets of club fans goes back to Russia in 2018, when violent scenes also erupted in Nizhny Novgorod and Saint Petersburg.


This comes as Atlanta Police confirmed it has "enhanced" policing for the World Cup semi-final clash.


The FBI has classed tonight's game as the "highest risk" match at this years tournament, after meeting with officials and local police.
