Masum Miah, 42, was found by officers at around 3am on Tuesday morning on St Bartholomew's Road, East Ham, after they responded to reports of gunshots.

He was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene, the Metropolitan Police said.

No arrests have yet been made.

Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten said: "Our thoughts remain with Masum's family as they come to terms with his tragic death.
